Ooh, that's soooo pretty! Which one is that Mark?

I remember when you almost lost that one Mark (Flying Saucer), Mark I try to work out also that's my first passion (Bodybuilding) Branch Warren, Jay Cutler, Arnold those are just a few names from guys that I like to watch, but is kind of hard to keep up with the young guys my work out partner is 6'6" and 290# and he is 28 years old so sometimes I try to keep up with him but I pay the price a few days after by walking almost in crutches, but No Pain No Gain but lately is been more pain than gain.

Those are names I am familiar with. I used to be a gym rat myself but do to all the miles on the road and days on the field, my body just could not do it anymore and I had other priorities. It has been really great getting back into a gym that pushes you each and everyday while looking forward to the next workout.
I don't know if you have heard of Mark Bell or Supertrain Gym, but that is the power lifting club that shares the facility and they are impressive. Its not so much the old style of lifting by weights and repetition as the motto is "get stronger and faster and let the weight determine the repetition"

Great site Mark, there's a guy that broke the 1000# squat a while ago, that's some crazy strenght those guys have, there's another website I like to frequent that gives a lot of good info and motivation (bodybuildingdungeon.com) I'm sorry to derail the thread, that's a beautiful OI u got there Mark.

This thread goes off track all the time; I wouldn't have it anyother way :)

Thanks for the link, I will check it out. another one I have been checking on from time to time is http://www.tmuscle.com/index.jsp
There are definitely some strong people out there. I saw someone squat 700+ raw last week and that was extremely impressive. Its been years since I've trained for strength, but in the last month, I've set new PR's for deadlifts and box squats :twitch:

You can't leave me like that, what are ur records???

This is the wrong forum for that

405lbs for each. I know, I know...but at least they are on their way up and not down ;)

Do you down any resistance training with bands and large chains? Its still pretty new to me, but it adds different tension at the top end and down low.
