Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

That's what I'm here for, to get Mark going again. A small dose of JT goes a long way:beer:

Yep, I did my water change, changed my media reactor out and changed the bulbs all before Amandagot home from work. I forgot how good a new set of radiums look on the tank:bigeyes:

Never mind I guess that link isn't allowed

Nope, but I saw the article. Cool fish, but not enough pop for me :)

I did like this shot that my friend Tony took this last weekend when he was over.

Yeah Tony got some nice shots of your tank. I espcially liked the one of you hugging the tank. :lmao:
By the way nice Mickey with a soccer ball Tattoo.

I saw a Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis the other day and I think I found my new favorite wrasse. Now that fish has some POP.

Yep, Tony did a great job. I always like having friends stop by to BS with. And yes, thats my fantasia Mickey with a soccer ball as when I got that, Soccer was the only thing that mattered

I see many long nights in your future with the World Cup coming up.
I think you should also find a way to make it down to OT this weekend before they close their doors. You never know what you might find at a great price.

Luckily I have been saving my vacation and sick time up and I think it will be exhausted by mid July :D

I don't think I will be traveling to the bay for that as I have some personal obligations this weekend. It kind of sucks as OT was always a favorite for me when I was down there. Now Ian is moving out of SF and OT is closing, Just a couple reasons less why I won't be heading to the city as much. Chris better step his game up

Tank is looking awesome as usual Mark!

Are you happy with those LEDs you added to the tank? Do you think they made your corals fluoresce more?

Thanks. There are still a few corals trying to decide what they want to do, but all in all, things are getting back to normal.

As for the LED's, they are a really cool addition as they are just another toy to play with

Ahhh boys and their toys:)

Tank looks super!!!

Geez Mark. You say you're having problems? That last FTS looks great. Corals have definitely grown. Looks like you might need to do a little trimming soon :).

Mark, what do you do when a fish or two come down with ich? Do you leave them alone in your system? My fish have ich and I think I'm going to take them out and leave the tank fishlless for a couple months.

And so the teardown begins :hammer:

but seriously, why would you do that? I thought these things were called fish tanks ;) Ich is always in a tank. It's the fish's defenses that help protect them. My fish go through periods where they show slight signs, but it goes away with a couple water changes and some regular feeding

One reason, McCulloch's Clownfish. I cant believe it but they are going to have one for sale today. Just my luck. I'm still thinking about getting it and setting up a small 29g tank for it but I do not want to introduce it to my ich infested tank. Damn hippo tang from Live Aquaria spread the ich! I will never get another freaking tang again!
