Mark,
Do you have the orange orenji? I'm not seeing that one much these days. I know Naka had a piece but said it was a slow grower. Maybe Slojmn has one...for some reason I was thinking you had one too...maybe not
Chad

Maybe :p

The tank looks good as always Mark. I'm so glad to see acros back in it!:D Heck, between you and Tim, I need to start a wish list.

Thanks Jeremy. You know sooner or later you will need a bigger tank to house all of mine and Tim's corals

What chalice is the one that you did the close up to rob i have never seen that one and was just interested. anyway like always your stuff looks great. man i am becoming a regular on this thread.

Brandon

Whats up Brandon :) I am a regular on a "few" threads. I try to keep the eye candy rolling.but I have been off my game for the last two months.

That chalice is one that I picked up a few months back at a LFS.
Here it was a couple days after picking it up

And now

There must be something in the water

That's what I'm thinking. Kinda like good water makes good coffee and good water makes good bagels, I think Mark's water makes good corals.

Thanks for the info on the sand. It looked bigger than most of the stuff I have seen before. I need some heavier stuff to avoid any sand storms from my tunze.

Already being planned.:D Well, sort of. I know the eventual size that I want, just need the house to put it in and not move for awhile. When things settle out, you'll see a new build thread, 8-10' long, 3-4' deep, 28" tall or so.

Today was an interesting day. I picked up a couple new goodies, but iphones do not do well when you drop them in a tank

Here's a preview

Looks great Mark, I did'nt know what to think of those fish when I saw them for the first time. Now they are definitely growing on me.

Will you be buying the new 3G now? I got upset when I dropped my Fat Max measuring tape in the tank. God only knows what I would do if I dropped my Iphone

That's awesome, I'm glad you got two instead of having one all alone.

Thanks. My friend Alicia also got a pair. It was nice to have about 20 of them to pick from

Tomorrow will tell a lot about the phone situation. I had a friend that jumped in the river and his iphone was in his pocket. He turned it on the next day and all was well. I do not have very high hopes though :( And the answer is yes, I will "need" to upgrade. Life without the iphone is something I do not want to experience ever again

Nice Mark... Im getting a pair myself sometime this week.. Any behavior on this fish you want to let me know :)... Aggressive ? thanks

I'm not Mark, but I'll give you some feedback!

I've had a trio of them since July in a 40G Breeder holding tank. One has grown quite larger than the other two and is a bit aggressive and territorial when it comes to feeding time. I actually seldom see the other two as they hide in the rocks and then I see a flash of them during feeding. I'm hoping they get along better in the new 268G tank.

Steve, I just told them to play nice before I added them to the tank. I am more worried about how the two male bartletts willl treat them. :(

Thats good to know Sara. I do know that they will get kind of big. Thier mouth reminds me of a mini grouper.

It looks like a mini grouper for a reason ... it is in the grouper family. Drs F&S have a grouping of write-ups on Anthias as a whole by Scott Michael. Hope the link works!
