No, i been lucky with him. Cross my fingers, but his been good so far. I had him for almost a year now.

BTW, i still owe you for the star fish you gave me, my harlequin pair love him.

Ed, Is that a pyramid butterfly? Any problems with it getting along with the copperband. I have been toying with the idea of adding one or two.

Mark, No this guy have been pretty mellow. I never seen it act up on any fish. I did see one of its kind on someones tank, totally nipped an entire monti colony. Like, angels these guys are hit and miss.

I really don't care to much about a nip here or there, I already have one of those :D I have been thinking of even getting it a mate ;)

I kept pyramid butterfly before. I never had a problem with them nipping coral. They are a pretty passive fish and need to be feed allot like Anthias. But once they establish they are pretty hardy fish.

I also used to keep butterflies and they do occasionally take a nip or two but no harm done to the corals..

But they do love brain and elegant corals...!! wipe out my clean in less than a week !!

Thank you good sir. If I remember correctly, you tried a couple in your last tank.

So....how are you doing without your tank and having to keep the thread updated :) I hope all is well.

How many did you have Brian and in what size tank?

Mark- I started out with one in a 120, but found they do better in groups. So I added another one. My local LFS that I used to work at bask in the day had 4 in a 300. They really like to swim in to open water, so your t5ank would be great for them.

One thing I did notice away keeping them is that they are very shy fish and will be pushed around by more aggressive fish for food. I found that putting them in QT really helps. It gives them the chance to fatten up with out competition. For a fairly inexpensive fish they are one of my favorite and will most likely have a small school of them when I upgrade.

Thats great feed back Brian. Thanks again. If I do add any, I definitely would like to add 2 or 3 of them as I really like the way they school.
