Exactly, I also considered those Chinese pumps like Marine Color and Magic Marine , but for some reason I couldn't pull the trigger on those.

Oh I did the same on the magic doser, but read it gets a 4th of the life a BM gets. I figured running hours and it was like a year. Seemed silly to save only to replace in a year. Can't go wrong with GHL. I'm looking and buying the GHL complete monitor kit end of the year or beginning of next.
. Right now I will have to get by with my old RKL.

Well, tank is finally in my house. I was able to finish my stand,top is made out of 3/4 in. plywood, on top of it is 1/2 in. sheet of Styrofoam and tank sits on top of that. It is perfectly level. Now waiting for my light brackets from Cad-Lights to arrive next week. Made out of stainless steel I think it will be perfect look for my tank.
Once I get my lights hang it will be time to finish pluming and electrical inside stand. Few pictures of my stand.
As you can see also I am still undecided with my aquascape. I went to my original thought and keept only two rock for very minimalistic look. I like it a lot, but would like your opinion too. Most rock will be covered with SPS corals with only few LPS at the base and few clams on open sand. It will be stocked very lightly with fish, so I don't really worry about hiding spaces for them. More rock will be in sump to help out with biological filtration.

I decided this time to put shallow layer of sand. I got Tropic Eden flakes and miniflakes that I will mix together. This should give me nice substrate that is good for wrasses that I want to keep as well big enough so it doesn't get blown around by powerheads. I like this sand very much, it is very clean.

I will later this evening. Those brackets are extendable, I believe close to 8 ft. , also it overhang a little more than 12 in. over the tank.

Thanks, I was thinking to do the same as you, but with time and cost figured, I just ordered those and I am very happy. It is stainless steel, very light but strong. My fixture is very heavy, but it holds without any problems.

Great build, I like those overflows, Where did you get them? they seem like they would be perfect for a smaller/nano tank.

Those are Xaqua InOut from Italy. I ordered from them directly, they shipped very fast, had them in my hands in less than two weeks. They can handle quite a flow, about 650 gal. / hr each, according to the company info.

Right now I am playing with different combination of ATI and KZ bulbs, I should have it figured out soon, will post it when done.
