Maroon Clown and Rose bubble tip.

Hi,

I have had my maroon clown for about 1 month in my tank. Small 2"

I just recently added a RBTA about 3-4" in diamter. But my clown has been harassing it. It wont leave it alone, and has shrunk to the size of a quarter. None of the bubble tips are out. Its all scrunched up.

Should I seperate the RBTA and put in a quarantine? Or just wait it out?

I'm having the same problem. I have a small glass over my BTA in an effort to allow it to settle in. But when uncovered, the GSM seems to want to eat, rather than host, the BTA. Any ideas?

Gsm are known to love bta's to death. Rule of thumb some use is get a nem 3x the size of the clown. So a 6" nem will be good. Also feed your nem so it grows faster to accommodate the strong clown lovin.
Also clowns do suck on the tentacles from time to time. They don't eat them. Looks like it sometimes though

I agree with whip316,I would seperate the clown from the anemone.The clown could end up killing it.
