Beautiful Maroon Clown for sale - $20

She’s about 2 ½ inches, very healthy, eats everything. You need a good size tank for her. If you’re looking for a clown that will host, look no more. She has been loving my RBTA too much for too long and I want to try and recover the RBTA. I’m not really sure it’s a female but my wife says it has to be a female since she always is feeding and trying to care for the RBTA. Yeah, yeah, I don’t know about that but it is pretty cool to see her feeding pieces of silversides and such.

I have an onyx clown in the tank I'd like to have him in, since they are not mated anybody have any suggestions as to acculamation. Can it be done?

I don’t know anything about onyx clowns. But I can tell you I have two false percs with her now (72 gallon). She has never actually tried to bite any other fish but when the RBTA is out of her hole, the Maroon has on occasion chased the false percs. Surprisingly, the percs aren’t really afraid of her. ??? Maybe that’s why she doesn’t pursue them more. ?????

I'd be leery of putting a maroon in with another clown. I'm assuming 'onyx' just means the black variety of Ocellaris or Percula. right?

I've a few tanks may be able to try taking the onyx out first then reintroducing it back after the maroon has been in there a few days etc... The onyx looks just like the maroon but, well --ONYX! Will they pair up? Hm. I don't know, probably not! Would be cool though.

We'll take him if you don't have any plans yet. The situation is we are getting ready to move to a 55 gal. and currently have a 30 gal with 2 false percs and damsel and goby. It might work? I'd like to see our BTA hosted since the perc's pay no mind to it.
