Maroon Clown Happy?

Would a maroon be happy in a 20h by himself? Im not sure if i would get the white or the gold stripe, though i have heard of the gold stripe being less aggressive(only + for this would be less bites on me). is that true?

Yes- and my goldstripes enjoy nibbling on me whenever they can; no damage yet though. Good luck!

my gold stripe is extreamly aggressive. I havent been able to get another fish in my tank!

She used to nibble at me, but now she knows im her food sorce and hasent tried it in awhile

ok, sounds great. as long as i can keep her for her full lifespan i will be getting a maroon. just have to decide between the gold/white stripe.

oh, and are maroons safe with cleaner shrimp? just wondering in case i add a shrimp later.

I'd probably go for a 40 and get 2 clowns she'll be happier and the interaction (once you get them together and not killing each other) between a pair of clownfish is really amazing.

well, i already have the 20H and its about to be setup. so she would have to be alone in the tank. i know all damsels can be social, which is one of the reasons why i started this thread.
