Maroon Clown too aggressive

I had to remove my gold stripe maroon clown because he was too hard on my anemones, are the standard nemo orange clowns more gentle? i was planning on getting a pair of maroons but that's not happening so hoping the orange would be a little more gentle with them? what is the least aggressive of the clowns?

what kind of anemone is it? i think i lot depends on the size of the anemone and the size of the fish that it is hosting. make sure that ocellaris clowns are compatable with your anemone before getting them or they might not even host at all. but to answer your question ya the ocellaris and percula are very laid back as far as i know. clownfish in general are usually pretty easy going from what i understand and the maroons that u had are also the most aggressive clownfish so pretty much any kind you get will be a less aggressive PROBABLY. good luck

I have a RBTA and a GBTA, both are doing much better since i removed the Maroon. The GBTA was about 4 times the size of the Maroon, the RBTA was maybe 3 times the size. He mainly picked on the GBTA but when it got so shriveled up from him tearing it apart he started on the RBTA, that's when i put him in a cage and they started to recover.
I will try a pair of the Ocellaris nemo's when they fully recover and get back to normal.

jeeze! sounds like your clownfish was an @$$hole! haha but ya both of those nems are supposed to be really good for hosting ocellaris. their natural nems are really expensive and hard to take care of so your lucky you have two of the best and hardy alternatives. i have been trying to get my two ocellaris to host for two weeks now so hopefully u have better luck than i do!
