Clownfish are all born males and if kept with another clownfish the larger one of the pair will turn female. What's the size of the clown?

It might still be male or lack any gender. If kept alone long enough, it will become female. If you want a pair, you could try getting another tiny clown, but you might need to remove one or the other.
