Alright that is totally understandable. It is farther along in it's life than mine is. Mine is about an inch and a half and is just starting to turn yellow. Do you think it would be possible to make them a mated pair?

wich ever one is bigger will become the female-and mate so YES it is

This isn't totally true..
While the bigger of 2 that are together is most likely a female this does not mean that 2 that are put together later on will pair... It is very likely that if the 2 seperate clowns have been alone for a while they have each individually morphed into females... They key is this ... 1 ) get 2 very young clowns and the more dominant will morph into a female , 2) take an established male and put it with an established female...

Basically , I would say you have a couple of famels ... I could be wrong .. as we all know that happens frequently ... but in this case I would caution against it...

Eric is right on this I would say.
As a side bar, I have a yellow stripe miss bar maroon for FREE if anybody has a good home for him/her.

The clown I want to pair up with reefy's doesn't even have gold stripes yet. Do you think it's young enough to not be female?

I think the rule is if it has been independent from another dominant Maroon for more than a few months it haes allready begun... In my expereince Maroons are the hardest clowns to pair ..Allthough it can be done...
