Maroon in 29

Hello all

I am intersted in getting a maroon clown from my lfs.
I have a 29 gallon tank, and it will be the only fish in there. I will be setting up a 55 gallon tank within the next couple years.
My question is, will my 29 be big enough for the maroon for the next couple years? It will be the only fish in the tank, and will not have many corals to tear up.

I have a gold stripe maroon and a true perc (paired up) in my 46 bow. I have even had a maroon in a 20L years ago. It should be fine but would not suggest going any smaller then a 29.

I had a mated pair of GSM in a 29 (along with their BTA) for over 3 years, they spawned every 3 weeks or so. They were the only fish in the tank, and I never had a issue.

(I ended up selling them when I moved, but otherwise I would have kept that set up)
