The flatworms are not really a problem. they are restricted to some mushrooms and when I siphon them out there's only few that show up the following day and the problem is that I'm not there to finish them up.
As I'm home for a week now I'll run a few siphoning sessions on them and if after that I still see them I'll consider using chemicals to finish them.

thanks. all the tanks I had have had DSBs before and I think it birngs me some insurance with the additional filtration a sand bed gives VS barebottom. there is no frame on the tank but it's held by 4 inch wide 1/2 inch thick pannel from the front and back and 3 center braces on it as in pics on the first few pages. there is also a brace like that from the bottom from front and back. seems sturdy enough as the LFS owner who made it has 4-5 (750-1000) Gallon tanks that have been running since years. One of them is even older than 12-13 years and have had no leaks or other accidents.

If you are going to be around for a while I could probably find you some Levamisole which is great to kill those nasty red flatworms.

No Salifert around here that's why I struggled for months with inconsistent results. however this was solved few weeks earlier when my sister went to the states and brought me back (Alk, Mg, Ca) salifert tests. I packed an additional set on this trip and added Phosphate and Nitrates that I didn't have and belive I have enough for 1-2 years.
Will try to find Levamisole and will get some flatworm exit next time also. might try treating the mushroom rocks outside the tank as I can easily take them out.
Are these the same flatworms that infect hardcorals?

This tank was really attractive, all those corals shined under that dim lighting and purple background. Wonder if they would light up the tank a bit at night for the corals to get the light they need.

You should see some pics of Towers, Parks filled with green trees (in the desert), highways and Road structure... you'll be amazed.
It is very expensive to live in but for tourism it is cheaper than europ except for hotel rates....

Thanks. Guess it's not worth posting a question if you're not willing to go with the answers. not to mention that Ilive in an area with very limited resources reefwise, very few fellow reefers and we lack that advanced knowledge.
