you must be the only guy in the whole middle east with the OG oregon Tort, sweet..

Thanks Feels really good :D

OK an honest moment:
Not to make a total stupid of myslef but i've been trying all afternoon to find out which one of my corals is the OG oregon Tort with no luck:o

Is it the light colored ones I got cause then it would be really good to have bought a coral with a name (not that I'm really that picky onhaving only brand corals) for only 10 usd.

I am always amazed at how resiliant some of these pieces are. I really hope they all start to thrive for you.

I also love the photos, they look amazing as always!

Thanks Catherine.
These have been in my tank for 3 weeks now and they look fine. only had 2 incidents wehre my pavona fell on the green slimer and brokeit off from the base. epoxied teh broken piece and now I ahve 2 silmers...
also my Millepora which is fixed on a rather larger and heavier rock fell down for the first time in months on the Blue accro I was lucky to catch it rapidly and only a small part of the blue accro got stung...

Time for a complete run down of the tank as it is one year old today  (11 years old since I started it and 1 year since upgrading to 150G)

Unfortunately tank is now torn down and in the middle of a move as we had to relocate. will be relocating again in 1 year when our appartment is finished.hopefully next move will be the last for the tank (or might be an upgrade:D )

So picture of everything just before I tore it up.

That rubbery green "algae" you got from Holland, is it really algae?

I have it and it grows pretty fast and has a good foot hold in my tank. It also traps detrius under it and aids my valonia's growth. I pulled a lot out and it is almost impossible to get every last piece.

Be careful with that stuff.

Not really sure it's an alga however that's how it feels. here it looks at it's ugliest but after few days it'll shed it's outer layer like a leather coral and will look a verynice shiny green. It's been in the corner of the tank since years and only grows on rocks it can touch and is very easy to trim. Still I remember that in the tank I got it from it was covering the whole middle of it from up to down going down like a waterfall...so maybe it can be agressive. Do yo uthink it's not an alga as I never could get any ID to it.... My main intentino for it (or GSP, Zoos or xenia was to grow on the oveflow they are next to but none is.

Reason for those twin spot wrasses to be taken out during the tnak move:
DSC_500.jpg

They kept on hitting on the clam on the right till they flippede it over and munched on it from below which killed it...
and a few closer shots of the clam:
