This will be a moderated panel with three panel members.

Sand Swap

Everyone who wants to participate should bring a cup of sand. If you've got healthy live sand (no nasties) bring it. Otherwise, bring a cup of new sand.

Coral Fragging Demos

We'll be demonstrating SPS, LPS and soft coral fragging at three different tables. Each of the three demonstration will be repeated three times by three different demonstrators. Agenda: 8:15-8:30, 8:30-8:45, 8:45-9:00. This will allow for smaller, more intimate groups around each of the three demonstration tables. If you want to learn a lot about one type of coral fragging stay at one table. If you want learn a little about all three go to all three tables.

Raffle

Paul promises another great raffle. Last month he got frags from several of the local vendors plus some great dry goods. He promised to top that this month.

Thanks Brian... I just went bare bottom. I know you're intentionally leaving me out of this sand swap... ;)

Looking forward to the next meeting...

Maybe we can all just trade parasites and nasties in a seperate swap. I will bring aiptasia, AEFW's, and red bugs. Mike also has some nifty things such as ich, velvet, and.... oh never mind, that one isnt fish tank related, that he has been itching to get rid of as well.

since I don't have a sandbed yet, can I just bring 10 cups of new sand for trade and stock up on live sand? (kind of kidding)

Bored4long

I'd love to trade live sand for new sand. I've got about 129 lbs in my sump now. 60 lbs of it is ready to be swapped out. It is saturated with bacteria. I'll trade it pound for pound for new sand.

FWIW - I'd go bare bottom or very thin sand layer in the display tank. Put the DSB in a remote location that you can maintain without disturbing the display tank.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I read through the RDSB thead and noted that you were using one. I intend to pick your brain about it one of these days.

Soon as i get a new(Replacement) tank. I will also go bare bottom!

Bored4long, I have got to get you your calcium and mag. I can either bring it to the meeting or meet youat Aqualife anytime this week

Everyone

I've accepted Bruce Azzarito's offer to chair the meeting. Thanks again Bruce. Those of you who have volunteered to help with the fragging demo please coordinate with Bruce.
