I just wanted to post the final details of the MARS hosted Beginner Reef talks scheduled for December 6th, 2008. These talks are free to anyone and folks from other clubs such as yours are of course welcome to attend.
Location: Escape Java Joint & Art Gallery, 916 Williamson Street , Madison, WI 53703
Date: December 6th, 2008
Time: 1-5 pm (we have the room booked for an additional hour afterwards if folks want to linger)
Directions: John Nolen Drive NE to Williamson Street, R on Williamson Street, Java Joint is on the left at #916 Williamson (about 1/4 mile in on Willy st). Plenty of parking is available in lot just before Cafe or on the streets nearby. If we have a ton of people I will look into some additional parking options.
Topics to include Plumbing Q&A, Reef Chemistry, Reef Fish Selection and Coral husbandry. A general Q&A with experienced MARS members will conclude the four roughly 30-40' sessions.
