This is going to be an incredible event. I am really looking forward to emptying out my garage of the old stuff asnd filling my garage with the new. Please invite anyone who has a tank to come and participate as this is a great opportunity to score some great gear cheap. I look forward to seeing you al there.

Special thanks to John for allowing us to use his facility as a host.

I will be there... will there be a sign up for non-members at the event?

Can non-members bring some equipment to sell as well?

Thanks,
-Mutt

Yes, you have to be a member to sell. We will be accepting membership payments at the event. If you pay there you can sell your used goods.

I can't wait for this! This will be awesome. Is setup allowed before 4, or should 4 be the EARLIEST time to respect YR's back lot?

man sounds awesom, ive got some parts to get rid of too but i won't be in town. maybe someone can help me sell it ;)

So... um, how much space do we each get? I have never been behind John's shop, but is there a space planning diagram or something that we can all sign up for in advance so that there is not a ton of random piles of stuff in random locations - or am I over-analyzing this?

you guys ever been to REI's Used Gear Sale...

No I have not. I was just thinking on the logistics so I can plan accordingly. Some equipment can be rather large.

Good point. This could also be solved by having a numbered grid/booth spot like 1-25 with designating tickets that could be handed out on a first come first served basis. Each slot can accomodate a 3x5' area for example. Just a thought :)

well, i may not have anything to sell by that date, but I will definitely have some things that I'd like to give away. Just some odds and ends that would be better off with someone who could actually use them. not only is this a great opportunity to free up some valuable real estate in the garage, it's also the perfect chance to help your fellow reefers.

Very commendable! I do not plan on taking a ton of this stuff back with me, so you know it will be priced to move.

Ooo... I just realized there should be leftovers! Nothing better than cold BBQ hamburgers at 2AM. Life is good!
