MASC Elections

Don't get me wrong. I think Leif is a great guy and all in fact I am proud to call him my friend. But I don't think he is the only person to do the job.

Wow, what a positive attitude everone has! With sentiments like these its no wonder we cant get any participation at club meetings!

I think that it would have been great if we had some competition for the available board seats. I believe that everyone is running unopposed.

To those that stepped forward to serve, Thank you!

To those that wanted to serve but couldn't due to the existing bylaws, Thanks for trying.

When the new board is in place, use your voice and your vote to change the things you don't like. Hopefully you'll also let everyone know about all the things that you do like as well. :)

It's your club...... the board works for you. I guarantee that it isn't for the warm fuzzies from all the positive e-mails thanking them for their service.

So who would shoot me if I asked for a club name change??? Hopefully, at least one of you smiled.......

What Rob siad it very true. Please come join us make your views and likes and dislikes known.

I do have one question though. What does changing name do? It doesn't change who or what the club is. Names can be like changing a shirt new and fresh at first but smells like the rest after a while. What needs to be changed is attitudes not names. I extend my hand to all in friendship and fellowship. As the new president of the club I am here to serve the memberships wishes.

I have posted what my personal goals are in regards to the club on our main forums. I hope this day dawns a new era of friendship with all reefers in the area. I

Also there were others nominated that were qualified to run but never accept their nominations. In the for what it is worth department. I hope to be able to ease the requirement for membership pending approval of the membership. I hope we can let the past be just that and start a new positive way forward. I have no idea what really started all the feuding and to be honest don't care. I can't change what happened. But I can help to shape a new future. I hold my hand out in the hopes we can forge a new and beneficial future for all reefers in the area. Will you except my hand?

LOL awe he knows me well. Yes I offer a clean hand. Thank you Mike I needed a good laugh as to be honest I have been stressing. The enormous task head is scary. I am confident that through open communication on a club level state level and a regional level. We can tapped a huge resource of knowledge available to us all right here. There are some brilliant reefers here and some innovated stuff is happening on our door step.

I'll  to what Mark said. I'll wash my hand and offer all of you a hand shake. ---Starting off with a clean White board (slate board or, chalk board) depending on your generation (mine is carving in stone) sounds great to me.

Hope to see you all on Sunday.

Yeppers It is the meeting at Cris Capp's home. For those of you that might still be unware. Cris owns and runs Aquatic Arts I believe there is a link to his site in the actual meeting thread. This will be at his home and we well get to see his personal tank. From what I have heard from those whose opinions I value this is a must not miss meeting. He has some awesome corals. Hope everyone can make it. This as all our meetings are open to all. No fee no requirements just fun. Come join us,
