Genicanthus personatus: aka the masked angefish
i had a total fish loss due to stuipedity and a bacteria bloom that suffocated all my fish, now when thinking about restocking the thought comes to mind, why not skip the mundane fish and spend a little coin to get the wow factor , while also keeping the reef very peaceful, and i want a pair of genicanthus agian, and i remeber my trip to the Waikiki Aquarium. and it popped into my head thats it (among other fish) that will set my reef fish collection apart, now the question, where can i get one of these male female pairs, i know itll cost me a pretty penny and a ton of work to get a pair but im up for it, guessing around 400-1500 would be a wild guess, and a year or 2 waiting for them.(let me know if im way off) now i know i could wait years to get them from an online store or die waiting to get them from a lfs, so im wodering does anybody know divers that sell retail? exspecially a hawaiian diver so i can knoch out 4 of the fish on my list wiht one diver. maybe even most of them. i really need help with this one, this is not a little dream (IM GETTING A PAIR)

wow....... so i was way off! thanks , any other recent stories of them selling any where to 1500 each? so that i dont have to not go to college for a pair of fish lol

They are expensive and unavailable, which if you work at an LFS, you should know. If I could get a healthy pair for $5,000, I would set up a separate tank for them in a heartbeat.

i work a a fish store part time, not the livestock manager dont deal with ordering guess the phrase is close to the bottom of the todumpoll, talk to customers unload fish and clean, ordering is kept in the dark. not a pair for 5 grand but a single tiny baby breed from the Waikiki Aquarium. http://www.anomalies-unlimited.com/OddPics/Angelfish.html. this "dream" has been crushed and throun out i think im just sticking to a japanesse swallow tail i can find those (and know how much they cost lol) thanks for all the help but ill stick to fish that can be found.
