Hi all,
I bought a Yellow Masked Rabbitfish (Siganus Puellus) at the weekend,he's currently in QT.I bought him as a relatively Reef safe & peaceful tankmate.Anybody have any personal experience with these fish?

Thanks in advance,
Rob.:)

Other than a few reports of rabbits liking to nibble on clam mantles, they are a good bet to be reef safe.

Beware of their spines...they can cause a nasty sting! My friend just got stung by one the other day. She said it felt like a truck had run over her hand. So be careful! :)

I have experience with a Foxface Rabbitfish. It was VERY skittish. Whenever someone would walk past the tank, it would dart into the live rock and scare all of the other fish.
