Master electronic 1073.090

Hi Roger,

I have a question on the Tunze Master electronic pump 1073.090

Can it be consider to be a pressure pump, to power a Beckett Skimmer. Currently I'm using a Iwaki MD 70RL to power the skimmer, it works great, but it drain electricity like crazy.

According to the manufacture, a Iwaki MD 55RL would fine on the skimmer, I just want to check hows the Tunze Master pump stand up against the Iwaki pumps.

And if I should consider them for the skimmer application ?

It will not work well in this application, it is a low pressure pump and I had someone try this with a 1073.14 which is pressure rated but the back pressure from a becket is very high and it tended to make the pump very noisy.
