hello...i will try to put $100 around 21st-22nd of this month...if the total amount reaches the required value by that time,i will like to give the same amount to your paypal account..

hi karen

. I am from singapore and am working with friends and a good friend.who owns a fish store to help you. I have a dear friend who goes by digiman, who is willing to give you his interrupta angel free of charge. It is however, missing an eye from a fight but otherwise is perfect. Genetically for breeding it is fine.

We would also like to send you two wild caught interrupta angels. For 3.5k, you'll get a total of three fish to work with. We are trying to arrange for the wild caught ones now. Might take a few weeks.

Let me know what you think. My friend is a local breeder so we are very supportive.of what you do.

Regards
Y K Tea

very cool...

Lemon, a very generous offer!

Hi Humaguy,

thanks, just relaying the message to Karen on behalf of the very generous people I know.

Digiman, as you may know, is an avid fish fanatic and has an interruptus angel in his care for a very long time. it however is missing an eye due to a fight with another fish. it is still healthy and in top condition though. he is more than happy to donate it to such a good cause with no qualms. since it's a physical defect, it shouldn't be a problem for broodstock if karen still wants it.

junkai, my other friend, is a local fish breeder who does clownfish and dottybacks full time. he has successfully raised obliqued dottybacks as well, and as a fellow breeder, he shares the same passion and enthusiasm. he has recently begun importing fish as well and together with a close LFS, is willing to absorb part of the cost of sending two interrupta angels to karen at 3.5k. including digiman's eyeless one, that would make a total of 3.

it's good to know there are so many people extending help from everywhere and it's heartening to read this thread. we would like to help in anyway we can, especially to people like Karen who has done an amazing job with pelagic fish rearing.

PS, i forgot my user name as well as the e-mail i used for my previous RC accounts. this happened twice already. i need a brain transplant!

Yes, my friend, always cool to connect the dots...I have learned an incredible amount from you over the years, thanks for that!

I love this thread!!
Now we have friends reconnecting as well as all the support that's being offered.:spin1:

YK Tea, digiman and junkai- Thank you so much for the offer to help us bring in broodstock interrpta. I really appreciate it. I have two breeders with eye damage from fights (a latz and a watanabei) and they are still wonderful pets and great spawners.
There is currently a wholesaler here in Hawaii working towards bringing in some interupta from Taiwan for this project and I think we should wait and see how that turns out before you put effort into arrangements in Singapore. I'm sure the folks in Taiwan are dealing with having been hit by typhoon Soulik and when I hear more about the possibility of that shipment I can let everyone know how things are going.

Thanks again to everyone! We are now over $2000 on the donation page and I never thought we would have so much support from around the world to get broodstock interrupta to Hawaii!

Hi Karen,

We will be importing the juvenile interruptus angels at the end of this month. Let me know if we could ship the 3 fishes directly to your wholesaler. 3 fishes for the price of 1 definitely gives some leeway for any incidents that might occur with broodstock.

If you need joculators too we have some stock in Singapore now, from the importers of your latezonatus. I would not mind consolidating them for you.

Best regards,
Junkai

What about the g. Personatus Karen mentioned earlier? Maybe we can start a collection for them after this one?

sounds excellent!
def get a few Jocs....

It would be great if she could get Joculators,Interruptus, and Bandits going! These are all rare and stunning fish that will forever be demand. Many of us who do not own these fish, hope to in the future. It's also amazing to see all the connections coming through in supporting this up and coming project! I have no doubt we will soon see some awesome progession pictures of tiny interruptus as we did with the recent Clarion success.
