mating blue spot stingrays?????

hi there, i was at a Local LFS in , there was two blue spot stingrays in a tank together.
weve had the larger for about three weeks and the smaller for two, a week after adding the second they started to behave differently, they are always near eachother and the larger is seen what appears to be cuddeling with the smaller, they are ontop of eachother quite often, but no aggresive behavior when eating, not biting or raising of spines, anyone seen something like this before or have any information on stingray behavior????

You should be able to see the claspers under the tail of the mail, but the female will not have these.
