I picked one up after I noticed several aiptasia in my display. The filefish ate all the aiptasia, then decided to start on my lobophyllia collection and then turned his/her attention on my acan garden. It took a couple days for me to figure out what was going on with those corals, until I noticed the filefish ripping pieces off.
So the filefish has been removed to the sump until I return to the lfs.
So bottom line yes, the filefish took care of the aiptasia as advertised, then found a different replacement for his appetite.
