Matt's 225g Dream Build

I was going back and forth with where to mount my GHL 2 doser. I didn't really have a good spot for it so I decided to make a floating shelf. I made it out of aluminum L channel that. I picked up at Home Depot. Spray painted it black to match everything and mounted it to the plywood under the tank. It turned out to be a great use of space and I may make a few more similar ones to house all of the power supplies from the DC pumps.

Everything is so clean and organized. Love it. This is the same size tank I'd love to get in a year or two.

Some of the work on the rock structures for the tank. I have a few bins of rock in my garage that has been curing for months. Drilled out the rock then Used PVC and acrylic rods to make some unique structures. Tank is going be be SPS dominated and I want a minimalistic aquascape. Plan is to let the corals grow in and fill the tank not a bunch of rock stacked up. This has been really time consuming and I'm sure I will keep changing it until I am completely satisfied. Here's one piece that's just about finished.
