What, no pics of you in your thong bikini? :D ;)

Another pointless thread then.

Okay. Here I am surfing. I'm the upright surfer on the right.

Anything interesting new. My wife and I went back in 1997 and we are going again next year. I am getting certfied in Scuba Diving before I go and will also do some snorkeling. I didn't last time because my wife could not swim. Sucks being on an Island and your wife can't swim. She has given up on being able to swim well enough to snorkel or scuba so I have been cleared to go it alone. This time to my Mother, Sister and Husband, and Brother and Wife are going so she will have people to do things with while I am away.

I could see how someone can get sick on the Road to hana I drove it myself, and I am not positive I want to do it again. Great to do once and wonderful views but it is a whole day trip.

A few things have changed I'm sure.

There has been some fighting among commercial company's over the use of some snorkel and outdoor activities sites. So the state has closed some spots to commerical use and made it very difficult to find some of them by removing signs, landsmarks and preventing parking.

Also since the book Maui Revealed came out a few years ago, they have closed some parks because people actually starting showing up to use them. Makes no sense. We tried to go to three different parks to hike that have all been closed in the last couple of years. Very disappointing.

When we figure out all we are going to do I will have to layout a plan and ask you about it. Don't plan a drive up the inactive Volcano (Can't remember how to spell it) and its not open to the public anymore.

The volcano crater is open to the public. The best time is to watch sunrise or very early morning. We went around mid-morning and it was already covered in clouds and starting to rain.
