Mavjoy's Rimless Tank...

Thanks Ryan:) and your right about pic 7. I'm just using a Canon T1i with stock lens and really want to upgrade to a 100mm macro lens in the near future. The sunset is definitely one of my favorite of all my sticks. Thanks again.

Here you go reefermad619,

I just added an extra mj1200 for more flow inside the sump.

Manny what is nutrient level in this tank? Color of corals are very nice and sandbed looks so clean.

Have you ever had cayno issue in your tank? I am battling cayno for awhile and because of that I have to stop Vodka, therefore I can not drive nutrient level lower than 5/0.03, many saying current level is even better than ULN, but I am still ichy and want to see how my corals do in ULN.

Now I am dosing MB7 (bac source by Brightwell) alone in high dosage to battle with Cayno, on top of manual remove. It used to work before but this time the battle is very long, cayno just keep coming back.

Do you think Prodibio will help in this case? Thanks.

My tank also has some patches of cyano. Manual removal is good and lots of low helps a lot too. Do you use RO/DI water? I've been using Prodibio for the past 5-6 months now and not sure if it's helping but the tank is doing alright. I might try those bio pellets once my prodibio runs out or maybe even rice...hehe.

Great looking tank and you've had some amazing growth. I love your selection of SPS. I noticed you use the BM dosing containers. I'm looking for some as well since I need the height they offer. Are you happy with them?

Thanks coultkr. I'm very happy with the dosing containers. I just take the lids off and pour the 2 part and done...really easy and convenient.

It's been a month, so here is a new FTS and a shot of some of my LPS:)

Nothing much has changed...I'm using WM 2 part for a month now and pretty much the same as Bionic. Need a new scape..getting tired of the current one..hehe.

What type of scape are you thinking of? Mine is similiar to yours and I'm planning on building "towers". I've been researching the design I want, but it's a big job....

I'm thinking of setting up a couple of islands but it's a tedious job..hehe. I'll probably do it when I move sometime this year and downsize into a smaller cube tank.

Wow that is lot of growth in 1 month! The pink/red millie on top is almost doubled! You need to tell me the trick, do you contribute it to ULN/prodobio or is it because stabilization?

Man you should upgrade not downsize, what to do with these nice corals, donate to me :-)

What is the acro to the left of pink/red millie, Miami Orchid?

Thanks Ryan, having the big 3 parameters stable are the key to growth and color, IMO. I'll probably sell most of the bigger colonies when the time comes..keep you in mind..hehe. The Miami Orchid is the one on the left side(top area).
