anyone know any numbers for maximum flowrates through plumbing?

i built a closedloop for my setup, but havent really been running it.

i finally got a nice big efficent pump for it. a snapper

outlet is 1.5"

all my closedloop bulkheads and lines are 3/4".

i have an OM squirt, but prob will upgrade to the bigger model.

how much gph do you think these lines can handle? (3/4")

thanks in advance, sorry for the long post on my problem.

It's not so much the diameter of your plumbing as it is the pressure that 90 degrees create. 3/4 inch plumbing I'm sure can handle a heck of a lot of flow, but the issue will be pressure from that flow going around 90 degree elbows. You can reduce restriction and increase flow tolerance by using soft tubing for corners, or just 2 45 degree pipes instead of 90s.

yea i tried that, doesnt have the snapper pump tho. im guessing you should be able to push around 1500 gph or so tho out of a 3/4" pipe. i dont really want to redo my closed loops so im just going to give it a shot and find out.
