Hi

i've got a reefer 450 ( 93 gallon dt ) and my tank just cycled. I put in 2 baby oscilating clowns and i'm wondering what the maximum speed to run the mp40's?

Also is there a website to download mp40 schedule templates?

Maybe this will help, but it's geared toward corals:

With only a couple fish I'd probably just start out with one and save the other for when you start adding corals and what have you. But two produces a better effect for nutrient removal and variable current. The pumps are pretty amazing to me.

I think you'll need to do some experimenting to see what your tank can stand (sand blowing around especially when it's newer, tank layout, etc.). I have two mp 40's on a 105gal and it is a lot. I also have a couple Jaebo's behind the rockwork to reduce deadspots. The Jaebos' never exceed 25%, and my two mp40's don't exceed 40%. Note the variable effect drops significantly when you get lo, like 20-25%. I synched mine and run one in anti-sync mode. See what your sand bed can handle. I used to go scuba diving and have rarely seen "calm waters", even in a lagoon or cave.
