Well, back again with another problem report, still diagnosing it.
Lights came on today, and immediately flashed a "HOT" and "99C" warning. It's obviously a false reading. Eventually I was able to isolate it to the blue light circuit inside the LED array. This is the third time I've had a problem with this circuit, the previous two were a blown driver module fuse and a bad driver module (speaking of the internal "A" module inside the control box.)
After I got this figured out, I also found the 30W circuit wasn't firing at all.
Swapped cords to try it with the other control box, and isolated the problem to the blue circuit in the LED array. But now I've got no 30W LED's on either control box. Found a blown fuse in the "B" module inside the control boxes.
Waiting to hear from Brian at Fins Reef regarding what may be up with the LED array, but I'm still going to keep digging on my own as well. I'm also just going to order me up some of those pigtail fuses to keep on hand. They seem to be the most common problem that I'm coming across, and they're pretty easy to change. Eventually the warranty is going to run out, and I'll be stuck repairing them on my own.... might as well come up with a procedure for it sooner rather than later.
