I've been following this thread for the last week and decided to join in.
I ordered a maxspect mazarra p series fixture (two module kit) from reefsolutions in Quebec. I wanted black, but silver limited edition is all they have. I guess 'limited edition' means they haven't had the time to get all the parts painted. They said the order went out last Sunday and he explained they should arrive in Vancouver later this week. I'm hoping friday so I can play with them all weekend
I spoke to the owner, Stephan, and he explained that the fixtures come with an optional fan, which turns on when the fixture is at its brightest. He said you can remove it if you liked, the could reduce the longevity of the LEDs. He did say the light was incredible, like nothing he had seen before. I don't know if that was just LFS talk, but he said he had already switched all his fixtures over to mazarra's and they all look great.
I will post pics also of the unboxing and how the look! looking forward to see everyones setup.

Is everyone going to do a manual photoperiod or use the presets? I was unsure to use the presets yet as I don't know if the intensity of light will be to high and would burn my corals.

So you got x2 60w modules, what size tank do you have? It seems impossible to find any watts per gallon info from the Maxspect!

I want to one over one of your's tanks, then you can give us a nice review and a bunch of pictures to oogle over. I don't plan on buying one (I own a MaxSpect G2-160 and love it) but I want to convince my friend to get one and pictures would really help.

What's a triple kit???
I own 2 of the G2 160w and am getting a 6 module package for my 4x2x2 tank. Hope it's an improvement over the G2. Not impressed with the G2 after owning it for a year.

I check in with them everyday and they said today that it will be in either today or tomorrow and it's already tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow.... these things continue to slide back which is a bit frustrating, but hopefully the end product will be worth the wait.
