WOW I didn't know you guys had meetings :o COOL!

I don't know if I can make it or not but I'd really like to meet you all. I've been on RC for about 2 months and learned a LOT and having a blast.

It's my son's last bb game of the season so I won't be able to make this meeting. Maybe the next one can be at the beach with seine nets and a cooler :) ! I've got two months of spare time this summer :)

how do i get into this? do i need to sign up for the tampa bay reef club first to attend the meetings? and also what kind of experience is required......because i think i may come up pretty short on that......

There is no need to sign up before coming to a meeting. Anybody is welcome. No experience is required. Just an interest in meeting others and learning. I remember when I felt the same way you did before I went to my first meeting. You are very welcome to come to the meeting on Saturday.

Hello,
I live in Wesley Chapel, and would like to become involved in TBRC. I saw your post about May, I have to work, but would love to join you at your next meeting. It's so nice to see there is a club in the area. I will continue to look for future meetings. To become a member, all I have to do is just show up to a meeting? I just want to make sure I understand correctly...
Thanks,
Perry

Perry - Basically, yeah, just show up. If you are planning on attending regularly, we ask that you support the club and formally become a member (fill out a membership app and pay the yearly dues).

All - Anyone want any Xenia? My weed farm needs pruning and it's just getting flushed if noone wants it. I'll bring it to the meeting on saturday if so (it won't be mounted, I don't have any rubble to mount it on).

luminary

i would like some xenia....let me get back to you if i'm for sure going to be able to make it to the meeting......

My wife, daughter, and I may stop by toward the end of the meeting. I have an earlier commentment in the area. But if I get done in time. Count me in for at least a bit.

It has been too long. Hope to see everyone soon.

Cheers,
Chris

OK I'm 90% sure I can make it and if there is any xenia left I would love some. This is only about a 30 minute drive for me so this seems the time to do it!! You know me from the other post...I'm the begger in a classroom ... if anyone has any old reef/aquaria magazines they'd like to pitch (errrr....I mean donate :) ) ... they are making us have classroom libraries now....or a scoop of live sand...I'm going to be making LOTS of sand for about 1,000 gallons of tanks this summer from dead sand!

Hopefully by the next meeting or by fall I'll be the one CONTRIBUTING and not BEGGING!!!

...oh yeah....can someone teach me how to frag???

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Can I bring anything???

Sue, I have 2 little clowns left, I'll try to bring them along, which means I'd better work hard to to rear Thursday's batch of eggs. :)

I don't think I actually could run out. My colony takes up a bout 3 square feet of space. Some weeks I take out about 20 stalks of it and it doesn't even look any different :).

It was nice meeting you all! Sue, your tanks are amazing...maybe my tanks will be there some day. I'd love to breed some seahorses myself :) or those cute little clowns.

The xenia is in...one stalk by thread and needle...the other by superglue...we'll see. Thanks Matt!

And I have attempted my first mushroom cutting...I'll let you know BG!

Thanks again! I look forward to the next meeting.
