may meeting work shop, DIY kalkreactor

sounds like a great meeting and always interesting to see somthing diyed from start to finish. especially by geo. i hear he's made a reactor or two in his day lol.

I'd be in for this especially if its on a weekend after 4. What maxi-jet would we need? Do we order our own materials or just pay you for them?

Everyone keep in mind this will be a DIY clear PVC reactor, not an acrylic GEO reactor

yes, but you'd be learning from the "reactor-master" :D

The workshop costs $64, everything you need for the reactor will be supplied, including the pump.

Okay,
It looks as if the willing participants will make a group large enough of to do this.
Providing it is a go this is what we will do.
I will have a kit made up for each person. This will include all of the parts, the PVC tube and the maxi jet pump. The tube will be pre drilled and the maxi jet will have a fitting attached to it for mounting to the reactor. This will be done to save time during the assembly. There will also be a parts list and diagram of the rector, and a set of instructions.
We would run through the parts list. We will go through what was modified, how and why. And then we will assemble the reactor as a group. After the reactor is together we will then go though installation and operation.

These are designed to go together with a minimum tool requirement, a true diy project that anyone could duplicate.

we can get plans up at a later date

let me know the date so I can make sure I keep it open.. (please not between april 20 and 28th!!! work trip out of town)

this is scheduled for May meeting the exact details will be posted soon. It will be on a weekend and most likely after 4 pm

Please!!! be on a Sunday. Or let us know as soon as possible so I can get a cover for Saturday. But count me in.

Oh, and do we get GEO stickers to slap on the side:)

wanted to give George a big thanks for putting this together. This will probably take up a day or 2 of shop time to get everything cut and ready to go not to mention getting the presentation together.

As mentioned to participate It will cost around $64.00 George is working on getting the cost down as much as possible. The price is the clubs actual cost for the parts. The kits will need to be prepaid either by paypal, cash or check (made out to CORA).

Also as mentioned, these will not be GEO reactors but rather a clear pvc DIY CORA Kalkenstein reactor.
So sorry no GEO sticker but we'll see what we can do about a Kalkenstein sticker :)
