That macroalgae looks good too. That stuff died on me, as all kinds seem to in my display.

Lately, a bit rough, honestly. He had turned into a very happy, easy baby for about the last six weeks and then on Wed. he had his second round of immunizations, and wow... it's like all h*ll has broken loose with the spotaneous crying, inability to nap very long, etc. . We're not even sure if it's still from the shots this many days afterwards, or if the whole thing just threw off his previously well-established sleep cycle and now he's having a hard time getting it back.
It was definitely not the first Mother's Day Sarah had envisioned!

Been there, done that.
Have you guys spoken to his doctor yet?
That seems like a little bit of an excessive reaction, if it's already been a few days.
Ironic? I'm good at growing plants and killing algae.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=14987745#post14987745 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by Weetabix
Kinda ironic, since you're in the FW planted scene.

Looks like you have two types of macro algae growing in there. One is pretty definitely Red Gracilaria. It's an absolute tang favorite. Priscilla would eat it by the pound if I gave it to her.
The other is one that I'm not super familiar with...maybe red bubble algae? But it doesn't look like the horrible red bubble algae that plagued my existence at one point. So that's positive.

No, it's not Red Bubble Algae, thank goodness!
I believe it's Botrycladia, as pictured here:

I've also heard it referred to as Red Grape Kelp.
