Ok .....so 1.5 weeks after adding my new light (150mh) my sps appear to be bleaching. I do have 2 pieces of screen over my mh light but guess its not enough. My softies all seem to be tolerating it  go figure...... Soooooo Im moving em to the bottom of my tank now.

What about lighting for an hr or 2 then upping it a little every few days? What I was thinking if I get new lights.

generaly you should move new lights away fromt eh surface of the tank atleast 2 feet and every week drop it 6 inches

this has worked well for me.

* use some cardboard to temporarily blind out the light bleed.

will zoos ever be able to handle a high spot on the rocks right under the MH or should I move em......course that would mean peeling em off the rock ughhhh

Depends...I have some that just thrive at the top...but others that clearly don't like too much MH (at least 500W of 10K).
