Maybe off topic : But am fustrated!!

So As you all no I am getting out well I have all my stuff listed everywhere even on craigslist because we really need to come up with some money :( Well I get a reply from someone wanting pics of the tank thats all well and good but he notices the filter in tank and lights on the tank! He asked about those I said those are seperatly priced. He goes on to say no thanks then! no problem had he left it that way but NO he kept sending me text messages talking about all these good deals he gets and that he buys and sells them. He got a 250g sump,lights uv etc from a doctors or dentist for like $100 something. then he got 2-75g whole set up for $150 OMG really!!!

I know there are great deals out there but dont try and haggle me!!! I do need this stuff to go and I do need the money but I am not going to let the tank,stand,canopy,filter and lights go for $80!! No way! I am already losing money as most of us do when we decided to get out of this hobby!

Just tell him"that's all well and good that your getting those deals but I'm not giving my stuff away and don't contact me anymore",end of discussion.if you don't like my price then don't buy it.
 
Yea, sounds like he's trying to lowball you...Personally, I wouldn't waste anymore time on the tool...Just keep hitting delete button... btw, thanks for all the rock. The carpet & leather frag are settling in nicely, too....Maybe I'll send u a text pic to make up for all the lousy texts from that a......hole....:)
 
I wouldn't let it bother you. I hear some of the awesome deals lfs gets.
Everyone has their own reason for getting out and what is acceptable as far as price.
They (meaning anyone) may be trying to intimidate you so you will go lower on price. Just tell them the lowest you'll take and that price is firm.

Tanya there is one every where you go just don't let them get to you.. Btw every thing is doing great, if you ever want to come by and visit the door is always open for you..
 
this is exactly why I used craigslist 1 time......and will never even consider it again. Something about a couple asking for a picture of me and my girlfriend when I am selling a car makes me nervous. That place is way too much of a hastle.
Good luck with getting back on the feet we will have plenty of frags and equipment when you come back.
