MB7 Jamms skimming!?

Hey,
I started adding MB7 and Bio Fuel to my 100 liter NANO yesterday.
I stoped the Skimmer for around 4 hours. (an aqua medic turbo floater 1000
blue)
2 Problems:
1) the skimme didnt return to skimm since then (16 hours , It just swirls
the water inside.
2) I have a lot of air bubbles exiting the skimmer (my nano looks like a
soda bottle!!)

Any Ideas how to solve this!?

Thanks

Do you have a lot of livestock? If not, you could turn the PS for a couple days and then the skimmer should return to normal. Microbubbles in the DT can be stressful to fish and coral...

I have quite a few of them...
If you recommend on turning the ps off for a few days, can I realize from that , that
after a few days the ps should work as normal?
Thanks

HUH? Never seen emperical data to support that statement.
3 displays designed for massive surge and intense surf produced micro bubbles at (1) Aquarium in Maui and (2) at National Aquarium in Perth Australia would indicate microbubbles are not harmful to fish and corals.

Microbubbles do make salt creep, nukes your light systems, makes a mess, but other than that nothing else cares. I believe former RC member Melev had a setup/experiment for forcing bubbles into the main which caused the SPS to slime. Not sure what the final verdict of positive or negative was on the experimental bubble induction, but he didn't lose corals or fish from it. (His website googled should have more info on that.)

I recall MB7 addition causing some skimmers to overproduce or even overflow. So, just a guess. Maybe it's the combination with the biofuel. Double check skimmer is setup and functioning as it did before you had change in skimmer output. Was the only changes to the system prior to the problem the additons of both biofuel and MB7? Or did you add a new chemical resin or massive water changes recently? Isolate changes or additions one by one. If the MB7 and bio-fuel are the the only changes in the past couple weeks? Then, discontinue the MB7 for a week and see what happens. If no change, then discontinue the biofuel and see what happens. About the only suggestions I'd try to trouble shoot what's going on.

Thanks Cleveyank for the reply!
I did a massive clean out of the tank 2 weeks ago but after everything
worked normal... after the addition of MB7 and BioFuel, its like the bublles
made by the mesh impeller of the Aqua Medic pump of the PS instead if
becoming foam and going to the collection cup , its like they dont get foamy
at all and just flow outside the outake of the skimmer...

Thanks, im gonna give it a try for a few more days and if the skimmer doesent get back to action I will stop the MB7 and BF ...

so wiered ... its been the 3rd day now...
and still nothing from PS (never happend before)
Going on a 15% water change , see what that's gonna do...
