i have a male(assuming)

i would like to add female. would 3 or 2 be better? this is 75 gallon.
do they school like chromis or stay in one spot?

That species will not school (or shoal). A harem of 2-3 females would be cool though as the male will flash at them.

They will flash in a territorial fashion as well but they get the best nuptial coloration in the presence of a female.

someone else had gotten a McCoskers and they put their male in their tank that had anthais------And by surprise, the wrasse began schooling with the anthais!


I know this isn't exactly what wanted but they can schoolon occasion!

Where are you getting this. I have a definite pair and the female is every bit as nice as the male. She may not have the fins, but their coloring is the same.
