McCulloch's Clownfish

Well the McCullochi clowns are doing great. When 2nd was put in the 2 fish began ramming each other face first and hard. I was quickly getting a net to remove one and they stopped and the smaller one seem to submit right away. Then just chasing and tail nipping with continued submission behavior. I believe they are a pair now and eating well.

Nice looking clowns. You won't really officially have a pair until they grow a little more and one becomes a female. From what I understand about this species, you may have to worry about them going through another bonding process at that point.

Well sure seems like they are paired, like in 5 mins. The one is already 50% bigger. All that is left is some chasing and them males turns on his side and has seizure like behavior. I was ready for a battle that never came to be. Do you by any change know the age that clown fish are able to spawn. Cant find a straight answer. But the fish are doing great eating well and growing.
