Just thought I'd see if anyone else has had this experience. I have a yellow Carpet that I've had for 7 years or so, and every once in awhile it would catch my hand while I was feeding and I'd have to just slowly free myself. It would be sticky but not painful.
Then I started using gloves and for the longest time haven't touched it.
Last night I had to quickly dunk my arm in the tank to keep a rock from coming lose and the anenome touched my forearm and man what a sting. :eek1: Feels better this morning but it feels like I burned myself.
Could anenomes' change their composition to produce more of a toxic sting over time?
Just curious what caused this change, and it might explain why my new maroon clown doesn't use it as a home. (My old tomato used to love it several years ago)
