mean clownfish

So I know they're territorial but my clown is insane! He's not aggressive to anything except me! Talk about don't the hand that feeds you. No matter where I put my hand in the tank to clean, feed or move something... he darts across and starts nipping. He's just a little guy in a 20 gallon long and it used to be cute, but now it's obnoxious. Anyone got a nasty clown like this guy or am I the lucky one?

My male black and white ocellaris is like that. He is very shy and submissive to everything but when I put my hand in there he becomes satan! The female is pretty calm all the time. She hides if you put your hands in like all the other fish in the tank.

My maroon drew blood when I put my hand in the tank. I finally had it with her and trade the pair to a lfs. Now my A. Percula is pecking at my hand when I go too close to it's anemone.

I had some orange skunks (male AND female) who would attack me. They didn't really hurt - just startle me. But I won't keep female maroons because they scare me :) I have seen some that will attack anything placed in their tank - rocks, algae magnets, fish, hands... doesn't matter. And they can be big as in "draw blood" big.

ocellaris, yes only one.

the girl is prolly coming out in him.

are you sure you have them sexed right, lol?

My female GSM used to attack my hand all the time and startled me too. I soon got rid of it and and got a true perc like this is me.

My Black Ocellaris female assumes everything that goes in the tank is food. I normally get three or four bloody (just a drop of blood) vampire-like bite marks in my hand if I have it in the tank over 3 minutes. They're wild caught so that may explain their aggressive protective habits.

Yeah, I seen Booyah at a frag swap this past weekend and when they would sell their perc's they would just grab them by hand. The fish wouldn't run and scatter like normal fish would.

my male snowflake, even though he is tiny he hits real hard. my female darwin actually jumps out of to bite me. she bites the brush when i clean the glass and attacks the turkey baster when i feed mysis.

i am scared of my 6" chrysopterus (blue stripes) cause they have little teeth. i can only imagine that with her size and teeth, there will be blood. but she is nice and hasnt went for my hand yet.

Mine use to go to town on my hand. I wouldn't make any movements and just let him nip at me and he doesn't even want to touch me now that I added a LTA.

My large female perc clown has never bite me or showed any signs of aggression to me(fish well thats different). But the tiny little male clown is just pure evil! He doesnt draw blood but startles me a lot or bites me between my thumb and finger...It's like he knows thats where it hurts.

I debating getting rid of the pair every time i work on my tank
