Really gorgeous zoos! I bet they look fantastically fluorescent under just actinics!! What species are they? Im guessing Zoanthus Sp. maybe Protopalythoa? Lovely acquisition

I have some of the same, but my centers are more purple. Look to the very right of the pic. Sorry its not a great pic.

I call them green w/purple mouth. I think that too many people have got into naming the zoos. I love the color and use color to describe them. I have seen too many people calling zoos a name that somone else calls a diffrent zoo morph.

the names do serve a purpose, at least with the more common ones. but there are so many different morphs the lines become blurred. I have about 4 different shades of bam bam oranges, in three different sizes. Are they all the same? no. are they all bam bam oranges? for simplicity's sake, yes.

Well you need to name them something different if they are not the same. What makes them different THE COLOR AND SIZE. I know I have 3 different color Eagle Eyes and all are different colors & size some that are small orange and xl orange ,red and a few yellow/gold.

They look like faded mean greens to me, The bottom ones in the pic look more greener, Jayreefers look like Blue Ice

Maggie,

Those look like mean greens to me. The color on the MGs can vary a lot depending on the height you keep them. When I keep them high in the tank they can turn bright green/yellow. Lower in the tank and they stay a true green. Another key to IDing your MGs is the way it is structured. Some people have greens with grey centers, but the centers are much smaller then the ones you posted. I got the fake MGs from a local reefer who told me there were MGs.

I babble way too much! Here is my pic

And here is a shot with real MGs in front and the fake ones in the back. (Yes the fake ones have a greyish center, just not on this bad pic)

I will try to keep them in high light to hold the light green in hopes that the pink centers will stay that way also. The pink color pops under my frag tank(VHO) lighting alot better than my MH in my main display which is what the pic was taken under.I have got alot of the fake MG'S in the past and this is the only one with this color centers.

I agree with fins on this one... I think they are the same.. the color can morph a lot on those... give them a while in your tank and see what heppens :)
