Medicated fish food

Has anyone tried medicated fish food for parasite or bacteria outbreaks. I have been reading up on this and would like to know if anyone has tried it.

It can be useful for specific applications. All depends on what is being treated, the necessary medication and the ability to incorporate it in a feed that is palatable...as well as the fish still being in good enough shape to be feeding well. The tricky part after that, getting right amount of medication to the fish.

I've tried it but the fish were not interested in it at all. They were eating though, I tried medicated food and they let it sink then I threw in regular food and they would eat that. Now I have medicated food just sitting around.

Try mixing a little with frozen food.

I've had a lot of success with the Dr. G's antiparasitic and antibacterial foods.
I wouldn't use it as a cure all, but it helps the fish fight off what ever problems they are up against.
