Medicated water for long term QT?

I'm wondering if there are medication I can keep in QT all the time? keep the fish medicated to treat general things..

I do TTM after QT before going to DT. So new fish goes into the QT right away and stays for a month. I dose Prazi a few times within the month. But in the mean while, anything I can keep in water long term?

I'm not experienced in copper meds. I do have enough equipment and tank for it.

I saw some green no ich water at last Macna.. but didn't buy it. The guy said it kills all free flowing forms of ich. anyone got a clue what it is?

I don't know of something just to keep in the tank at all times unless it's copper . The treatments tend to be hard on the fish . I am starting to do prazipro and metronidazole in conjunction with the ttm : each time I do the transfer I redose with prazi/metro and before they go to the new tank they get a freshwater dip . talk about stressing the fish out . I have kanamycin and erythromycin on hand for infections, formaldehyde to use as a dip for marine velvet , and CP . Some of these depress appetites. So now I have to add a dewormer that I never have used on top of it all . I was listening to a talk by Lefavre from aquabox during MASNA 17 on the subject of dropping fish straight to DT . He quoted a researcher that looked at a large sample of marine fish and said that 70 -80% are infected with intestinal worms . And I do have a fish that seems to be infected . Seems that the prazi and metro tx I thought sufficient didn't seem to accomplish that goal . The green water you mention may be the acriflavin dye used often in FW ick meds .

Praziquantel is one of those meds but it is only effective for about 48-72 hrs so it would become expensive to dose constantly. Chloroquine Phosphate is another that can be used all the time but it isn't safe with all fish, just like copper isn't.

I know this thread is relatively old, but... m0nkie, what was your final decision? I have a 180g sump/QT that is part of my 210g DT. The 180g sump is divided into 2 sections. A 60g section, which is the QT, and a 120g section which is the sump for the 210g on the first floor. Now the QT has its own sump, so the water in the QT is completely separate from the water in the 210g and sump. Currently the QT is a reef setup (long story short I didn't want to set up a third tank during this build and move) but what I had planned to do was take the corals and fish out of the QT and place them in my DT once it has finished cycling. I was going to leave some LR in the QT. I have read about TTM, but not very fond of using multiple tanks, I rather just utilize my single 60g QT that will be set up 365 days a year. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?
