Meeting? and a Question

I live in Los Alamos, but I'm traveling to UNM every other weekend to attend classes. I'll be there on 19th and I'm interested in attending this months meeting. If it is o.k. for me to attend, would someone send me the details? My e-mail is lafster at earthlink dot net.

Also, is there a supplier for acrylic sheet in Albuquerque that has decent prices?

You might want to send a private message to Mrs_Witchdoctor since the next meeting location hasn't been announced yet.

There are a number of places to get acrylic in ABQ. There are a few of them on or near Candelaria, just off I-25 (one is right next door to Coral Island). I don't know what counts as decent prices, but you'll be paying at least $100 for a 4' x 8' x 1/4" sheet.

Green is right most places sell acrylic for about the same the only way you will save is if you buy extruded! Try Plastic supply on candelaria, Regal Piedmont on princetion(about 1 1/2 blocks north of candelaria). The best place for plastic working supplies (weldon 4, bits,blades,polishing wheels) is right next door (south west custom acrylic) !!

If you called around for prices and found a price you liked, I could pick it up for you during the week, then you could get it from me on the weekend. I don't mind floating the cash as long as you swear you will get it to me this weekend.

Thanks for the info and thanks for the offer El Jefe. My class starts at 1:00 on Friday, so I'm o.k. with the M-F thing.
