Meeting changes and ideas

Sounds like a plan! I'm in. A "lab" does sound like a good way to help each other with different projects that wouldn't happen other wise. Phil, you did catch the second demo where I had the single lamp 4x ODNO. I think you missed the first one where I did a full canopy.

Well it looks like we are heading in the direction I was thinking about when I proposed we would need dues. These were the type of projects I was thinking about doing with money collected.
However, now it looks like we may have a way to do them without dues. I think for this to work we would need a club bank account and someone who could oversee the funds and buy materials for the builds. I really do not want it to be on paypal because it costs people to send the money if we use paypal. Also we would have to have a minimum number of participants or we could not do the projects. This would have to be determined by the amount of money we would estimate the project would cost to build.
So if we are going to do a project (I do not like the word lab) for meet after next what would you guys like to do?
Here are some ideas:
1. ATO
2. Build your own light
3. Kalkreactor
4. Sump/ refugium
etc... you guys can add others if you know how to build them.
I think maybe we should start with a build your own ATO. If we do this then the meet after it could be followed with a kalkreactor build. These two would go well together. We could also do a sump/refugium build first but those take much more time than the ATO or Kalkreactor builds. Plus people like to customize them more so maybe a sump/refugium project would not be a great idea.
I do not know how to post polls so if someone would tell me how I will post these ideas and others that are added into a poll thread. Or maybe someone could just post the poll for me. I will wait two days before I post the poll to see what other ideas are out there.
