Meeting Schedule - Opinions Please!

Sorry for the bump, but I am ALL about meetings on weekends (if this question is still on the table).

Watering hole "study group"? ahaha Watering hole frag swap! R'aR

I rarely remember to show up for meetings because I can't seem to wrap my head around "Monday".

that's a great idea, why can we find a dive bar that serves food(so all ages can attend)and have our meetings on a Sat. afternoon

Hey guys, sorry I forgot to post back to this one....
At the Feb meeting we discussed this and the consensus was that we should just shift to some other weekday night that is better for the libraries. So we decided on wed. and the April & May meetings are already booked for the 2nd wed. (see website for details).
I have made a ton of phone calls about getting a permanent space in the newark area and have not had any luck finding a place that will let us meet for free or even cheap. If anybody know of something, please let me know!
But there's nothing to stop us from getting together as often as we want at watering holes and such!! :bum:

I know the PARC group gets togather at a VFW Lodge or something of that matter - 1/2 is a meeting room, the other 1/2 is a bar - so everyone brings 6-packs to the frag swaps (at least when I went for Calfo's presentation) - I was a little sad that I wasn't in the "loop" I could have used a few cold ones during that presentation

Saturday afternoon would not work for me. Any evening would be better. We would probably have a low summer turn out as well.

Due to a change in travel/work schedule for Marty (our Secretary & Treasurer), we can now only hold meeting on Monday night. So, despite scheduling problems, starting in June we will be going back to 3rd Mondays at Newark Library. Sorry for all the confusion, folks, and thanks for your patience.

Marty is one of our many celebrities in the club, so I certainly understand. Just please tell him to email a reminder of when and where. He is so shy of his celebrity status, but isn't Secretaries Day soon or did it pass?

Well, it's more that he's 2 out of 4 officers than that he's a celebrity But yes, everyone who's on the mailing list will still get monthly email reminders of when and where. As we've been talking about in recent meetings, meetings for Jun-Aug may be cancelled if it looks like participation is low.
