I know it's still probably a few weeks away but I was just curious when the next meeting was going to be (and maybe where). I know someone posted a list of dates a while back, but I couldn't turn it up.

Another meeting I'm gonna miss!!! The one in June will be held at my place. I don't have huge space available, but hope everyone will be ok. Been dealing with some issues on my tank lately, hope I'll get it solved before the meeting next month.

Darn, I will have a 3 day old and don't think I will make it . Going in for induction on the 10th. But I could bump it back.... Not. I love the meets at LFS's and the discounts for the night. Emerald bays last meet rocked. You never know, I may drag in with a new bundle, I am really addicted to reefin ya know!

Hey all,
I am gonna bring 2-4 rocks with xenia.....there is a large one with 3 bunches and then smaller ones with 1-3 bunches of xenia.....
don't know prices yet...need to see how many exactly are on each rock.....let you know soon

What made you want to remove the Yellow Tang???

Tank is is little overloaded. Need to remove either the yellow tang, or my rabbit fish. The rabbit fish rules, so the tang has to go. It also has worms. Has had them for about a year.

when you feed them, do they go all the way to the surface? Do you hand feed them? That's how I caught my lunar wrasse. I hand feed them or turkey bast feed them and they ALL go to the top.....I just maneuvered my net to catch the little sucker when he was at the top eating....it took less than 5 minutes!

Now if your fish spook easily...then I want to wish you the best of luck......I was catching my clowns, blenny and chromis before I netted the wrasse!!!!

Hope that helps....oh and a little hand eye coordination wouldn't hurt ya either!

Someone asked what time the meeting was going to be. I called Emerald Bay yesterday and they said that they were trying to get in touch with Chris. They also mentioned that it would "probably" be at 8PM so that we could all go to Cancun for dinner/drinks.

Nothing has been set in stone as of yet, but just to give everyone a ballpark idea of when we'll meet.

The tang, and the rabbitfish both eat from my hand, if the net is no where to be seen. I can hold the net behind my back, and the nori in my exposed hand, as soon as the left hand with the net begins to move, they hide. They are two smart noodles!!!!!

The May meeting will be on Saturday the 13 th. The meeting is being hosted by Emerald Bay fish & reptiles. We have the back room reserved at Cancun restaurant across the parking lot from the store starting at 6:00. We can meet, eat & socialize there until the store closes at 8:00 and we can move the meeting there.
