mel-a -fix ,bubbles

I dosed my 60 gall for 3-4days and lost the fish I was trying to heal. anyway my question is how long before the micro bubbles will stop coming out of my skimmer:mad2: , I did a 10 gall water change and the skimmer cup is filling full of liquid and the micro bubbles are insane , how long before it stops

You can do a water change if you like--never hurts. At any rate, it is due to the fact that you are introducing an oil to the water, thus allowing the surface tension for bubbles to form.

You are not really supposed to continue protein skimming during melafix treatments because they are sensitive to oils and will skim it out.
