Hello everyone!

First tanks been set up for 13 months72 bowfront -temp 78, salinity 1.024 , ph 8 nitrate 10( doing a water change today) nitrite-0. All is supposedly well. I went away for 3 days and BAM! Mushy mushroom coral! Any ideas? Tank has 3 anthills, 2 clowns 1 cardinal, 1 wrasse and 1 neon goby.should I move it, should I remove it, should I cry?

Yes and I think it was the spot in was in, I moved it to a low flow area and the heads that are left look much happier

yeah I have a few in my tank. Started with one head. Be careful, they get huge and can take over whole rocks. Mine are at least 6" across and I have 4 of them. Treat like star polyps or xenia or they could take over

I got a hairy mushroom from a friend 6 months ago. It got really big and split to 4 shrooms... really cool mushrooms

Is everything else in the tank doing OK? Do you check your alk and calcium? Melting mushrooms sounds like more than just poor flow for a few days but let's hope an expert can chyme in. Hope they all make it :)
